Adam Joseph is a rare find in the world of music today. Not only does he write, produce, engineer, arrange, and play on all of his recordings, but he also managed to release and distribute his first album independently through his self-owned record label, JAH Records (established in 2003). Adam has performed alongside major artists such as Steven Tyler, Cee-Lo (of Gnarles Barkley), Dianne Reeves, Patti Austin, Brenda Russell, and Martha Wash.


His debut music video “Flow With My Soul” was among the first indie label videos to make it into heavy rotation on MTV’s new LOGO Network. His recordings have been in movie soundtracks and CD compilations. Adam is anticipating his first Major Label release in March of 2007 on SONY Records newest Label “Twist”.


Adam received intense training in Music Production and Engineering, Vocal Performance, and Music Business at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston , MA . In 2004 he moved to New York City where he created “Elegant Children Productions”, his own production company. Currently, Adam provides beats and songs for an entire downtown culture of rising Hip-Hop, Rock, and Dance Music personalities, all the while continuing to pursue his own career as a recording artist and songwriter. Adam reaches across many genres of music, continuously proving himself as not just a singer, but also a well-rounded musician, songwriter and producer.


"Soul Music is what I do because that is what comes naturally to me”. Adam’s soul extends deep into his recordings and often amazes listeners at their first impression. Always effortlessly surprising the public by his contrary look to his sound. Adam feels no need to conform to expectation but celebrates his uniqueness in every aspect.


Adam collaborates regularly with many other up-and-coming hot young musicians. His long-time band mate and Elegant Children Productions Co-Founder Nikki Glaspie is now playing drums touring with Grammy Award Winning artist Beyonce. Adam has also recorded and played with many other successful musicians including Mike Feingold (Jay-Z, Queen Latifah), Ruslan Sirota (Brian McKnight, Stanley Clark), Mark Kelly (Mariah Carey, Meshell N’Degeocello), and Davy Nate (Toni Braxton, Brian McKnight). His intimate affiliation with a select group of talented musicians allows Adam to create a sound and style all his own.


In the near future you can look forward to hearing Adam’s collaborative efforts with an ever expanding list of talented producers and musicians as he completes his second solo album and continues to write and produce for other recording artists.

    Excellent CD. Bought it months ago after seeing the artist on LOGO. Flow with my Soul caught my attention immediately but i have grown to enjoy all of the songs on this CD. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys jazzy soul-filled hip hop - this kid is already a master.

    This is a truly incredible CD; definitely one of the best I've heard this year, if not ever. The songs are well-crafted; not too over-produced yet they have a great sound.     The first time I heard Flow with my Soul, I immediately recognized the commercial appeal of this single. I thought a P. Diddy or Rick Rubin or Jermane Dupri produced the track. It was the only way to explain the perfect blend of his silky, soulful singing with that catchy hip-hop back beat. And the clever Spanish guitar intro that carefully works it’s way into the song’s background but reappears in just the right spots. Drop in a catchy rap interlude and you have what should be a top ten single. If you are looking for soft R&B or reggae jams with personal lyrics that you can relate to/sing along with delivered through smooth vocals, the rest of the album will not disappoint

    this cd is without a doubt one of the most polished well produced compilation of songs. The 2 pieces at the end are wonderful surprises. It is a bit confusing why there is so much empty space from track nine to the pieces at the end.but all in all well done well done. I can't wait for the next cd.

    On his CD HOW I SEEM TO BE, Adam Joseph mines the bedrock of pop, neo-soul, R&B, Jazz and reggae to prolific degree; he even throws in a smattering of hip-hop cool afforded by rapper Raydar. By any comparable standard, this is sophisticated music and the artist should be commended for the effort. My only question would be: WHERE'S THE NEXT CD???????????????????

    This CD takes me back to the old school days. It's funky and very soulful. I find myself singing and loving every song. The hooks are amazing. I bought a couple of copies for my friends and it's all about Adam Joseph and his amazing vocal stylings. Most of the more popular artist don't even come close to what this CD brings to the table. If you don't have this CD in your players you are missing out on something special. If I could give more stars I would. This CD is a 10 and beyond.

    This is by far one of my favorite CD's to come out in the last year alongside Erykah Badu, Annie Lennox and Seal. Boy's got more soul than most of today's male R&B chart toppers combined and his songs are incredibly well crafted and catchy without being too trite or bubble gum. The vocal production is tight and he displays great versatility as a singer. "Take Time" gives me goosbumps every time I hear it. The fact that this funky white boy isn't hiding his sexuality makes him even cooler. Support this artist--you won't be dissapointed.

He has a lovely voice and great posibilities. The Cd is Good. It is a recomended buy on it's own merit. You will not find Badu's flavor more like here influence and Not lauryn's lyrical content b/c this is a Adam jospeh Cd. A Good singer with a nice Cd at best!
