"Beloved Song Weaver" is the literal translation of her name, and a defining moniker as she braids her voice, lyric and melody into a rare musical fabric cherished by all who hear it.
Amy traces her heritage back to Native Americans through two Great-Grandmothers, who settled in Oklahoma when it was still a Territory. Her music reflects this same pioneering spirit. "Passionate, perceptive, exceptionally gifted, she sings to the listener's soul." says Nina Korman, Miami New Times.
Her songs are a gift of literate, humorous, often profound poems of one woman's journey from precious child, to woman to mother, to "Songweaver."

...almost as good as being in the audience...
author: Cindy Buxton, just a person...This live recording is almost as good as being in the audience. The music and the performer are strong, energetic, and the temptation to sing along is irresistable. Especially so are These Are My Own, With You Without You, and my own favorite, I Come From Women. This CD is a musical tonic for the soul. I highly recommend it!
