Aaron Rose started his music career in Dallas, Texas. Combining British pop and rock (Oasis, Ian Brown, Beatles) and American rock 'n roll (White Stripes), Aaron Rose has created a distinctly American sound.

"An album called Wildflowers, made by a singer-songwriter from Houston, Texas. It must be influenced by Oasis and the Stone Roses, right? Aaron Rose is certainly an Anglophile, and while the influences he states aren't immediately obvious in the music itself, it's far from your typical Texan singer-songwriter fare. 'Goodbye Rosalind' is one of the highlights, with chugging riffs and nice atmospheric keyboards in the background, while 'All I Can Say' is similarly fuzzy-but-pretty. Rose's voice occasionally has little hints of a Gallagher sneer, but that's as close to Oasis as its gets (apart from the adidas tracksuit and shades he sports in one of the pictures)...It's a promising start for a musician who is no doubt hoping to use his MySpace page (http://www.myspace.com/aaronroseband) to garner a few fans on this side of the pond."

Awesome talent on the horizon
author: Sara HollingsI love this CD! Track 2, More than I can Say, and 4, All I can Say, especially got to me, but Goodbye Rosalind and the others were also awesome. I'm not a music critic, but if I could, I'd vote for slightly more solo guitar riffs, and some tremolo in the lead singer's voice, maybe push the voice just a little more. An awesome first album!
