GROUP BIO
PolyGroovers is an electronic music duo, consisting of Konstantin Gredeskoul and Telene Johnston, a couple living and working in San Francisco, USA. Both DJs with over five years of performing experience locally and internationally, Konstantin and Telene have been collaborating since 2001. Konstantin is the creative force behind the composition, arrangement and production of all songs, while Telene contributes her beautiful voice and a critical ear for what works and what doesn't.
Passionate about music, the pair is continuously fascinated with the possibilities offered by modern software synthesis and composition tools. The duo's work is all about striving to create warmth, fluidity, and a smooth sound with their music, submerging their listeners into the deep atmosphere of hypnotic beats and jazzy harmonies.

Top Notch
author: SteveQuite simply a smooth collection of ambient mellowness. Lie back, chill and enjoy.
Fave date music
author: Elaine LevoniakI love this album- it has the perfect chill yet groovy and sexy vibe to put on when you invite someone special over to your place for dinner and... Polygroovers have a special way of layering gentle melodic downtempo with funky and sometimes Latin basslines. The vocals are hauntingly sweet but they never overpower the music. A nicely balance package that you will reach for again and again to set a sexy mood.
Layered and atmospheric, up-beat ambient grooves worth checking out.
author: Samuel LeshnickListen multiple times to fully appreciate this layered atmospheric journey. The famale vocal tracks like Seven Voices , Butterflies, and Mon Chaton are faves because I felt like it distinguished the songs the most. Overall, the album has a very accessible, jazzy feel that weaves world beats and languates throughout. Samples like "...reason to survive your filthy treason" are nice moments where the melodic meets the sardonic. Altogether a good album to accompany work or social activities.
Smooth sounds, plenty of variety, this is an all-around very well-produced packa
author: RiseyPFave Tracks... Homeless Love: This toe-tapping yet ambient number is wonderful to walk to or work to. Desoulate: Has a complex, ambling world music influence with plenty of space and texture. Get Naked!: Something to have on your MP3 player for when you are stranded on a desert island. Sexy and playful. Butterflies: Soulful piano musings and spirited percussion back a very melodic vocal track. Mon Chaton: A whisper of film noir makes for thrilling listening. Coming Closer: Playful, complex and a great closer.
Sweet and entrancing
author: Chrystene EllsThe song I played over and over when I first got the CD is Seven Voices, the first track. The jazzy sound is casual and yet unique, pleasant and captivating at the same time. Telene's angelic voice slides effortlessly in and around the beat, a beautiful accompaniment to the instrumentation. The lyrics are great, too; the story unfolding is the very essence of a woman betrayed. All in all a great CD. Highly recommended!
Definitely laid back with some fun grooves.
author: Jacob ClarkOver all the CD's great. I sometimes like to use it as back ground music while accomplishing other tasks. For a while it was the only CD I was listening to. I have one favorite track, like most CD's there's always that one track that you just absolutely love. My favorite was track 10, Come Closer, something about the beat and the way it sounded made me have to play it over and over again.
AWESOME down tempo CD, a must have!
author: Phil JacksonI LOVE this CD, its got phat grooves, great melodies and fabulous vocals. Each track has great arrangements, smooth basslines and just all around great music. From the awesome atmospheric beauty in "Desoulate" to the sexy grooves in "Black & White" every track is a winner. A must have for any listener of down tempo/lounge.
