The 97th Regimental String Band recreates an actual string band of the Civil War Era singing a wide variety of traditional American songs in authentic, "living history" style.
The 97th Regimental String Band is a eudaemoniousconcatenation of jocular harmonists that provides both vocal and instrumental music of the 1800's. The 97th has performed throughout the United States at many of the major theme parks, festivals, civil war reenactments and special concerts.

Love the Songs!
author: JillianAs a Civil War reenactor, I have seen the 97th Regimental String Band play live many times. I love their renditions of these old songs! They are a fun and talented group. This is one of my favorite albums they have made! :)
Fun Irish folk music
author: JennaThis is a fun Irish cd for the Civil War enthusist or anyone who loves Irish pub songs! Great songs and wonderful lyrics. Just an all around great cd. Goes well with others in the 97th's cd collection.
