notes
Decades ago....in a galaxy far- far away, a two-foot-tall, toad-like alien landed a small spacecraft on a forbidden planet. The alien peeked its wee little head out the top of the spacecraft to make sure that the coast was clear to disembark. The tiny craft opened ,and the alien woddled out of the ship with the "pitter-patter" of little feet as he carried out a small flag to claim the strange, forbidden planet in the name of Quagmor... 7even:thirty came out of nowhere and stepped on that alien, smashing him and sticking the promptly deceased creature to the bottom of his boot.
" Hell no!" exclaimed 7even:thirty,"not on MY planet..............find your OWN planet,.........HAHAHAAA!!!" 7even:thirty took that stupid flag and broke it with a "CRACK" across his knee. He then sqeezed himself into the tiny space craft and set its coarse to the small, infantile planet known as Earth. He had set out on a mission to complete what he had started on his last venture to that planet- to liberate the minds of millions by way of the various artforms of that world, and to annihilate all who dare stand in his way.
Upon arrival in 1981, he changed himself to spermadical form was inseminated into his host mother by means of his host father. 7even:thirty was a rather impatient soul, so waiting the whole nine months inside the host mother was out of he question. He demanded he be born within seven months time. In May 1982, 7even:thirty was brought into the world in an earthly, human-like form.
While growing up from infancy into adolescense, 7even:thirty had forgotten his purpose for being on the earth. It wasn't until high school that he would rediscover the true magnitude of his gifts. It would not be until college that he would recognize how to utilize all of his artistic gifts simultaneously. 7even:thirty finally came to the realization that he had indeed been here on earth before, and saw that he must pick up where he left off, thus propelling him into his next phases of evolution, taking part in an already exhisting revolutionary movement of true soul-powered music.

Simply talented
author: Serene7even Thirty... His music really sounds out of this world or way before its time. 7even Thirty you are simply talented, from your lyrics to your background music, I can't put a finger on it. You tap in on a level, many hip hop artists could never reach. Stay true.
this is hip hop!
author: Verbal"I'm the type to rock a straight jacket/ just to have a permanent b-boy stance over tracks if i ain't rappin..." (from track 3) That line right there lets u know early what u about to get into. Some real boom bap. But don't think you've heard it all yet. This album will continue to surprise u. Remininsant of ATLiens, this cd has it all. It's space funk, dope beats and rhymes, soul music. My favorite joint is "Introspection" but the thing about this album is u gotta hear it all in context. Not one to scan tracks on. This u let play from start to finish. Matter fact, take a drive, roll a couple of blunts for the ride or whatever u need to get ur mind right and ready to appriciate a true work of art and just soak it it. Word up. I mean that. I don't wanna give cats the impression that this is just another "outer space rap" artist. This is a layered project with many colors and it's definately got what u need. One love.
STAR tells a story!!
author: SmileyThis CD is AWESOME!! It has a sound beyond anything that is on the radio. A sound like no other. Completely ORIGINAL. And it tells a story. You have to listen to the whole album in one sitting and you'll see the story of 7even:thirty landing on this planet and losing his mind and then getting things halfway together to show planet Earth how not to get brain washed from the TV... this is a DEEP album. Not only does it tell a story... each track expresses its own originality. THIS IS HOT!!! The world needs to hear this!!

Thematically, if you had to sum it up quick, this is hip hop that is spaced out beyond belief. Lyrically abstract and musically dense, these songs make a serious attempt at convincing the listener that this cat is from another planet. But, when the grooves kick in and the beats start knocking on your eardrums, it becomes clear that he has one foot firmly planted on the ground. Busting out beats that somehow toe the line between ethereal and slightly grimy, any preconceived notions of what's coming on the next track have to be tossed out the window within minutes of this 21 song disc kicking into gear. Lyrically, he's got the goods to keep 'em guessing as well. While a track like "Flesh Eating Brane Kreature" is on the surface about, well, a creature from space with a taste for skull innards, when you peel back the layers it becomes a metaphor for some mind blowing musical abilities. With additional abstract lyricism for days, a knack for well-placed melody, and the ability to craft a song that doesn't get too hook heavy or repetitive, this is one that you can plan on spending some serious time with.
