6 DICE is one of Atlanta's premier rock and roll bands. With a solid backbone of bass and drums, they join forces with superb guitar playing ability matched up with intense vocals bringing each and every song to life. Whether slow and melodic or high energy, 6 DICE knows how to put the right sounds together and make them work. Compared to the work of "The Foo Fighters", 6 DICE has managed to incorporate the roots of yesterday and the new sounds of today. Not limiting itself to playing only electric, 6 DICE has learned to combine accoustic and electric guitars together crossing the plane and opening new doorways leading into the tremendous spectrum of music.
The band consists of Joel Bartlett, vocals and keyboards, Matt Ferguson-drums and percussion, Gary Lynn Goller-lead guitar, Rick Slavens-bass guitar and vocals and Larry Wood-rhythm guitar. Combining each members talent and influences, the great sound of 6 DICE was born and continues to grow.
6 DICE has developed a great fan base and has started to spread their wings across the southeast. Featured on internet radio such as Songplanet, 6 DICE has become one of the top 100 artist of all time. With songs like "Tree Full Of Branches" or "Natalie's Broken", the band has pushed it's way forward by engaging the listener. In February of 2007, the band attracted attention to itself through the CD's title song, "Tree Full Of Branches". 6 DICE signed with Illumina Records to assist in the production of a CD titled "Rocker's For Life" to be distributed nationwide delivering the message to our youth against drinking and driving.
"Tree Full Of Branches" is the band's debut album and has received a great response. It features a mix of high energy rock such as the title song "Tree Full Of Branches" or "Three Year Old Coloring Book" and a nice cross over with a combination of melodic rhythyms and super leads in songs like "Natalie's Broken". The album also features a nice change up with accoustical songs like "Simply Me" and "The Light". The music is very dynamic and the lyrics very real.
