If Metallica, Guns & Roses, Avenged Sevenfold, Social D, 30 Seconds to Mars and Tool threw a party, it would sound like 4 Years Past. The five-piece rock monster converged in the outskirts of Philly to create a new sound, now known as Sexy Metal. Between the energy on stage and their presence in the night, they carry the reputation of a new Motley Crue twisted with the power of H.I.M.
The foundation of 4YP is cemented by Sexy George on bass and Chris St. Angelo on drums. Coupled with the dueling guitars of Birdhouse Wilson and Steve Rhoads, it's all finished off by the hybrid vocals of Ryan Vox. The five aren't chained by the metal tag, either, as they've played an intimate unplugged set for a group of early fans and a rare appearance of "Let U Go", performed on WRFM, live, got an amazing amount of plays. As soon as you've decided what they sound like, they jump the other way, creating a diverse and emotional show every time they take a stage. They only carry that energy with them to their legendary after-parties, on some occasions, inviting fans to join them.
4 Years Past relates to each band member in a different way, and often times, with the audience as well. For each member of the band, it represents the time between their varied paths crossing, and the conception of what was once just a vision. All that remains, is the next 4 Years...
