Energetic track!
author: whitney jThough their album, Land Of Peachez, is a tribute to their home state of Georgia, Frenzy’s song “Hollywood Horror Beauty Queen”, written and performed by Trey McGriff, captures the gritty and sweet sides of its titular town. With lyrics about a particularly entrancing screen queen illustrating the magic of the movies and a bouncy melody that encourages head-boppin’, listeners will be drawn into Frenzy’s sugary, bass-heavy pop. (Maybe it’s all this talk of peaches, but we can’t help but hear the hooky pop-punk of the Presidents Of The United States Of America in Frenzy’s quirky sound.) Tailor-made for sitcom montages or lighthearted moments in action sports videos, this energetic track has more attitude than all the divas on the red carpet put together.
TOTALLY AWESOME
author: LindsayThe CD is everything I thought it would be. The music rocks. Something I can see myself not taking out of my cd player for a long time!!
Totally unique, very listenable and in every way driven by a strong melody.
author: JohnnyAt times while listening to "Frenzy" I felt like I was in the 60's while at other times it was very clear that I was in the 2000's (Is 2000's the right way to state that ??) This speaks clearly to the wide array of musical genre that this band can produce and no doubt speaks to the talent of the band. "Here with me" brought me that 60's driving melody that kept me wanting more. "Wicked Way" had a similiar feel but with more of a contemporary groove to it. "Hold her now" brought to the table an airy folk rock beat, with shades of the Doors and Grateful Dead flowing through it. Again, I heard influences from a wide array of music. Beatles, CSNY, as I mentioned The Dead, all had some influence on this bands music. Yet, no one band or music fully captured Frenzy's sound. The thing about Frenzy's music is that it did not want to be canned into any one genre. It is one of the few bands whose music did not allow for easy placing. Each song arrived witha different feel. Some arrived with pop, some alternative, acoustic and rock. A couple of songs met me with a little of each. I think this is the ultimate statement and testament to this bands sound. In my mind it almost wanted to create a genre of its own. Totally unique, very listenable and in every way driven by a strong melody. Open your musical horizons with this band. Give them a listen and I think you will be pleased. I was. Tell them Johnny sent ya!

author: Bruce Brodeen - Not Lame RecordingsFrenzy have carefully crafted a light and powerful jangle-fest on "Free Your Mind". Lead singer Trey McGriff manages to graft sounding like The Posies` Jon Auer and the guy in Blind Melon. The band sounds like they are from the South as they seem to have pulled off a most interesting mix of early Posies, Grateful Dead as they have a sort of jammy-swampy vibe. Its a unique sound and it works, very, very well and will appeal to many pop fans because of its central acoust-pop heart and catchy guitar chord structures, interesting vocal timbre and unusual catchiness. Very Highly Recommended!
Frenzy is a FANTASTIC band!
author: Double D RecordsFrenzy is a FANTASTIC band! My personal favorite track is "Life's A Movie" - that stays on repeat in my mp3 player! And they also contributed a wonderful track to "A Tribute To Elliott Smith"
Saw these guys at CJ's Landing in Atlanta and they were totally freakin' awesome

Addictive - - - - - was hooked from the first note
author: RecordladieI was introduced to Frenzy’s music several years ago and am very excited to see the progress since that time. From the first single, Left for Dead, to recounting lost love in Wicked Ways, and the rockin tune Just Don’t Care, Trey McGriff demonstrates excellent songwriting ability which is backed by solid musicians. Collectively, Frenzy encourages all of us to “Free Our Minds” and experience the music. Good luck guys. Groove on :)
worth it
author: OddballvideoGreat driving music!
Cool
author: Jason25Great songs, cool music. I hope these guys keep up the good work.

A great album. It sounds like a mixture of old Jefferson Airplane records and modern day bands like the defunct Trippin' Daisy. Excellent sound..these guys will go far. It's great to hear some real honest alternative music again. It takes me back to the good alternative music of the mid-1990's. I hope these guys make it, for alternative radio's sake.
Wonderful
author: TimOften when listening to new music, you have to listen to the CD a couple of times before you decide whether you like it or not. Not with Frenzy. Great music, great lyrics. This guys are going places!

pretty cool
author: howardNot the greatest cd on earth, but not the worst. I checked out their website, and It seems that the guitar player is the same guy from the monday night jam at the brandy house. I Kind of expected more from him. He really shreds on the open jams there, but there isn't any real ripping on any of these tracks. Mabye he isn't into all that in the studio. This album does have some cool songs though:)
Spank me & call me a bad girl-I love it!
author: True Playa -kg Keep it Crunck!!I heard one of the songs on this cd on the radio, called in & got the artist. I fell in love instantly!! I've long awaited an artist that would bring back real music, the kind that fits in with all of our lives & what is going on in the world today. I'd like to know when the next cd is coming out - if you would PLEASE send me an email when it arrives, I want to get a copy before they get sold out!! Baby Girl ATL!!
pretty cool stuff
author: Jason GreenThe Free your Mind cd sounds really great. I listen to plenty of music, and this band really has a professional sound.
WoW
author: JimmyFrenzy seems to be a mix of soo many styles, that they have truly created their own. I haven't heard many new artists that I can listen to an entire CD worth of material from, but I find this CD in the player all the time. I think this album will be a classic some day. Until then, I'll wear out my stero system playing this one.

author: DudeI got this CD from a friend, and I could not believe what I heard. I'm a huge fan of Beck, and this reminds me of Beck mixed with Alice in Chains. Why don't more places carry this CD? I heard that they will be playing in Atlanta soon. I would like to see them.
Awesome
author: NolanThis CD rocks! I can't get the songs out of my head. I gotta see these guys live. I can't wait to hear what they will do next. The sound is less euro-pop, and more indie than I thought it would be. Free Your Mind reminds me of what music was in the old days...cool.
Every song is a sonic treat with tones of Beatles!
