notes
Pat Kelley, Frank Potenza, and John Stowell are three of the world's most outstanding jazz guitarists. They have traveled the world performing in different settings and have now come together as "3 GUITARS" to make even more great guitar music. Their passion for melody, grooving rhythms, interesting harmony, and spontaneous expression is evident in each song. This recording of great jazz standards is one you will want to listen to over and over again. A must have CD for guitar fans.
*****Highly recommended.

Perfect setting, perfect recording
author: ScottThis CD has been in my rotation for nearly a month straight. Classic jazz standards done the way they should be, simple and elegant. Beautiful interplay between three fantastic guitar players in the most intimate of settings.
Good sounding, live jazz guitar
author: Andy D.This is a guitarist's CD. Three good players covering 7 solid jazz standards. Each tune seems well arranged without the performers stepping on each other, which can happen with 3 guitars. If you like traditional guitar jazz in a live setting I would recommend this disc.

I was at the Jazz Bakery for this concert, and it's a real treat to be able to listen back to it. The themes of that night seemed to be subtlety and interplay and it comes through on this disc. Each of the player's personalities is distinct while the overall texture took a life of its own. I hope this reaches a bigger audience than just guitarists because it has a wonderful musicality. And the live audio is terrific.
