notes
Sisters Kate, Charlie and Sarah were born and raised just north of Bristol in the South West of England. Brought up in a musical household the girls were singing together from a young age. They soon started playing guitar, piano and bass to accompany their vocals and called themselves 3D (three 'Dean' sisters).
The girls made their mark in the local area by performing in pubs, clubs and at private parties and in 2003 recorded backing tracks for ITV's 'Fame Academy' and performed in the Southampton Rose Bowl as a backing band in a concert headlined by Blue, Darius and the Drifters.
They soon decided to strip the band to the basics in and go out as an acoustic act using just a guitar and three part harmonies and in the same year wrote and recorded their first all-original EP entitled 'Maybe Someday'.
In the summer of 2005 a talent show was held in Yate Shopping Centre hosted by GWR fm Radio Bristol, the prize was to play at the biggest free event in Europe - the Bristol Balloon Fiesta. Despite fantastic competition 3D won the contest and went on to have an amazing time at the festival. Since then the band have extended their recordings and are working hard promoting their new album 'Sister Acoustic'.
