notes

32 oz.

They've been called "crazy" and "mind blowing," but 32oz. has far from lost their grip on what is considered to be reality. These two wildcats move crowds and make noise wherever they go using their zany lyrics, beats, persona, and stage presence. They live what they say and they express it so that you can live it too.

Carlos A. Pozo A.K.A. "S-L-O the Slumlord," was born in Virginia, but is a full-blooded Peruvian that grew up in four different countries around the world. Not only has Carlos been an M.C./Producer all his life, but he also has a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Florida Atlantic University and is a Certified Pro Tools Operator from Digidesign.

Sean Shiraldi A.K.A. "Ralo" was born in Edenwald Projects in the Bronx, NY. Aside from having been an active M.C./Producer all his life, he also has a degree in sound engineering and production from the Institute of Audio Research in NY, NY. Sean’s list of accomplishments are endless…having engineered and worked alongside of Jim Jonsin who has produced for artists such as Jamie Foxx, Ludacris, Trick Daddy, Pitbull and Trina. These two have proved to be an unstoppable force since the day they met in South Florida.

As time passed and these two artists became serious, they had collected enough material to put out their first album throughout the neighborhood. The locals loved it and 32 oz. was soon filling empty bars with fans at open mic nights. The fans begged for more material and more shows...they got them both. 32 oz. has performed as the opening act for "Common" at Coolworld. D.J. Stevie-D of ClubBoca said "That was the best opening act we've ever had in the history of ClubBoca." Soon after, the group headlined as the main act at Club Roxy’s where the staff was so pleased that they asked the group to come back for another show.
A local Hip Hop magazine from Miami entitled, "The Cypher," got a hold of a single and reports as follows : "This single really impressed me. I feel this was one of the most promising groups I've heard from the south in a long time. The production is outta here like laid off labor workers and this group of emcees use funny and clever metaphors to hold over those listening for the lyricists.”

Later, 32 oz. took a sabbatical to rethink their sound and strategy. They came back Pro Tools Certified and with all new equipment and exploded back onto the scene, causing such an uproar among the local community that it has jarred the attention of super-producer Jim Jonsin, Butta Verses, DJ Stevie-D and Maseo from DeLa Soul.

These two lyricists/producers are not to be taken lightly. Together, they will continue to make music no matter what the future brings, because after all, it is the sound of the music that counts and not the label attached. So remember the name, “32 oz.” because you’ll never forget the sound.
