She's a monster, 17 Speedhead that is! Where do these small town Saskatchewan boys get all that energy? After a blistering, set at the Side Track Cafe in Edmonton, Rhonda Mulligan from StickyMusicGroup was quoted as saying, "it should be a prerequisite for every serious band to see 17 Speedhead's act. It is unlikely, and probably near impossible to imitate their energy though!" This is a 3-piece powerful hard rock band, with a heavy pop attitude. Pop? Well not exactly...but you'll want to sing along! Gerald Brisson is a gutsy, albeit slightly eccentric, cock- rock-jock. His brother Maurice sings like a bird and lays down the beat like a quantitized jack- hammer. Justin plays the super low bass notes that force the young girls to move and groove. And all of it amounts to 17 Speedhead...she's 17...she's fast!

A Must Listen
author: Dee LindoI just recently found this CD and totally loved it. It is fresh, energetic and inventive.
Welcome to awsomeness
author: KiraThe Cd...amazed me. They kept me listening the whole way. I can't put it down. Splintered Nights really hit the spot. So did the rest of the CD. They know what they are doing. And they are so nice in person. I saw them at Fete Au Village here in Alberta, and wow. Great job on the CD! I love it!
#1 with a bullet!
author: RichWe've had this Cd in our greedy little hands for a long time (probably one of the first stations to have it), and 17 speedhead has consistantly done very well with our listeners. many of thier tracks have charted at our station, and one of thier tracks even hit the #1 spot. If you love heavier edged rock, don't be fooled by the album title, this is far from circus and amusement park pink fluff, it's got teeth and it will bite you, so get this disc or don't call yourself a rock fan. I can't believe the price it's selling for, it's worth a lot more in my opinion, and our listeners it would seem.
Tons of energy
author: Lauren JansI saw this band live in Edmonton, Alberta. Their C.D. will "rock" your world. Come on U.S.A. jump on the Canadian band wagon!!!
Good CD, even better Live!

author: wheezeeThese guys are worth the visit. See for yourself, Note their spirit and energy level.
The music is ingenutive and raw. The lyrics really give you insight into the son
author: Marie MeinowFabulous! Just fabulous!
Everyone I play it for really likes it. I sometimes play it in my bar.
author: K. K. BruceI bought the CD from the band when I DJ'd in the bar they were playing in Provost,Alberta. They were pretty good. Gerald is full of unbelievable energy. I often play some of their tunes in bars I work in, and everyone I play their stuff for likes it. Too bad the Goat won't give these guys a break, I thing they deserve it. Keep on rockin.
COTTON CANDY
author: DerrickGerald Brisson (guitars/vocals), brother Maurice Brisson (drums, vocals), and Justin Cooney (bass), have written and recorded a series of songs that manages to successfully merge a heavy metal sound from long ago with a fresh today sound. The result is a pleasantly hard sound that manages to keep you interested, but isn’t going to give you a headache or make your eyes bleed.
The cd is awesome! Take my word for it.
author: Chris GoldsmithThe band chooses a sweet mix of good ol’ rock’n’roll music, some alternative grundge with an attitude, party tunes that will bump you off your barstool and touching ballads. As for the album, they combined all this and slammed down ten awesome cuts for our listening pleasure. Variety is the key to a great cd.
Rockin El Kuroki!!!
